I always say to myself I won't be nervous and I'm usually not right up until 30 seconds before I start. I don't think I specifically have a fear of speaking in front of a small class because I don't mind besides the fact that I'm get so nervous right when it starts

i'm also nervous when speaking infront of an audience... people tell me that i have to build up my self-confidence... back in school, whenever i have to make speech or give a presentation, i usually write down what i want to say then i try to memorize it, i also try not to look at my audience, as much as possible i avoid eye contact because it makes me feel more nervous... i know it's not a good practice but i just can't help it

It's like anything else...you get better and more comfortable the more you do it! It's okay to have the fear...just ignore it and do it anyway. I always liked a deodorant commercial I saw once...it said never let them see you sweat! LOL That's great advice! Fake it!
