This is the best thing i've seen mylot do since i joined. I just saw the alert and couldn't be happier because i always went for quality in my post and now it's gonna be worth something. The people that spammed are probably gonna end up with little to no money by tomorrow. That is the way it should be mylot is way to big now to give out that much money to spammers.
I will happy when tomorrow comes and the quality posters that deserve it get what they deserve. I haven't posted that much this month do to massive spamming so i don't expect much but am happy for the quallity posters. Sorry for my rant but i like this site and don't wanna see it go to waste.

I read the alert also and was pleased about its contents. Many people in here are in for a shock. I can't understand why they don't read the guidelines and follow them. Today I've seen several instances of "cut and paste" from the discussion topic as a response to it. I also think many of people who respond with "yes, no or I don't know" will be leaving here because they're not going to be paid. Same goes for all the spammers. Good riddance.

I have been here for almost 2 months and have been waiting for this from day one. Some people were getting 300 post in one day and earning allot me then me and my quality post. It is refreshing to now see my post are gonna be worth what they should be. I hope all the spammers leave and stay gone for good.

I agree. I read the alert, and was so very happy. I have seen a lot of quality discussions today. I could not stand those awful stupid and filthy questions. And the English was not understandable a lot of the time. So, hopefully from now on, we will have more quality.

i hope it makes a difference this place can be a lot of fun i chated in one post for hours before but now i dont get an email when they respond i wish they would change that back too it was good fun chatting before they up graded it.its not about the money for me its the enjoyment that im after and meeting fun people

Yea i miss that to we use to have about 20 responses under 1 response. It was because we got the emails that let us know and the discussions would turn good. I wish mylot would do that again because now i don't know when people respond to a response i made in another topic. There was still spam then but we could avoid it more and post in topics we liked more.

Well i am pretty sure i am a worst writer then you but aslong as it is relevant to the discussion and people can read it it should be ok. It is good for the new members to see this now instead of the other topics they use to see when they first joined.

I am here only from today. One of my friend's led me to myLot. I too feel that quality posts should be paid well. I am not a good writer, but has the confidence that I can increase my content quality in a few days.
I plan to contribute to myLot daily and of course, to earn something too. Let me see it through the left panel whether I am posting quality content!!

yeah i have just read the alert from mylot and what i like most about the said alert is the mode of them going to add some thing to the members earning, the quality ones and not rewarding those who are just posting none quality ones. if they, mylot, can aslo speed up mylot's reaction time or make it faster as not experience lag then it would be better also. greetings. : )

Well not only are they gonna add more to the quality posters but there gonna take away money from the non quality posters. I am happy they did it today of all day because that means they wasted a month spamming on here. That is the best way to send a message to them because they deserve it.

Yes i agree Mylot is awsome.. and i to would hate to see it go down and to waste. I love comeing on here and posting when i can..And im glad everyone gets what they deserve.. Great Job to Mylot.. :)

That was the problem it was going downhill allot of loyal members left because the spamming got to bad. I think mylot finally noticed this and did this for us quality posters. The quality posters will stick with the site allot longer then spammers who are only here to cheat the system. Tomorrow allot of them are gonna be in shock to see they wasted the entire month by spamming and are gonna lose all there earnings. The money they lose will probably go to quality posters.

Yeah. I'm beginning to love myLot although I haven't get a Paypal account yet, but soon I will, just wating for my Dad's permission first. Anyways, I totally agree to that new alert, because myLot is getting way up high and big and groov'n ^_^. Whoever made this, can't say enough, this is nice and cool. I hope they'll increase the payments in the future or maybe 2mrw? Just kidd'n. Tceee.

Well actually from the alert the payments are gonna be increased tomorrow for some and a big loss for others. I know i won't be in the loss part because i always post quality. Note to you make sure you get your paypal verified or else you won't be able to get money out of it. You either have to verify it with a bank account or a credit card.

I am so happy about these changes too! It is shocking tonight to look at the recent discussions board and see quality things to talk about. I am so glad of the changes being made, sometimes I would worry that something I have been enjoying so much was going to shut down because of so much spam, but hopefully this will help us stick around :)

I too am really happy with the changes.Maybe from now on we will all see a better quality of discussion on mylot.I was really beginning to become disheartened by the mindless drivel I had to sift through just to find one or two discussions worth responding to.Perhaps now people will make more of an effort to think about their response before replying with one or two words,they won't get alot of money for that now,will they! I am not positive how it would work but i think the main part of it is to just get rid of 2 word post and such. I feel a quality post should st least be 2 sentences at the least. Mylot's main concern right now it just weeding out spammers. I wish they would give us more detail as into what it is like but if they did i am sure the spammers would find someway around that to spam then to. I am just happy enough with the quality discussions being on the front page to get more post instead of dumb topics.

I am pretty sure there not asking for 1000 word responses ...lol. Quality could mean a number of things i am not sure how they have the system setup now but i don't think it is word for word pay. You don't have to type that many words a quality post can be short to it depends on what kinda response it is. I myself don't have the time to type that much but i have a laptop and at night in my bed is when i type the most. If you have a laptop just do that and it won't be too much of a hassle.

I realize that I have very few posts, mostly because I do spend most of my time on myLot reading all of a discussion, examining whether or not I can contribute something significant and so on. My biggest concern with the "change" is, as pointed out here, that there are a lot of potential meanings for a "quality" post. Does a "quality" post mean so many words? Does it simply mean that what is being said actually is some significant input to the conversation? I admit I have not read all of this particular conversation but does anyone know what myLot is going to consider a quality post?

Well, finally some of our efforts seem to have yielded fruit. The contents in some posts have been very meagre to out it mildly. And some users have been notorious for their silly topics and even sillier monosyllabic answers. I'm pleased as a punch on seeing this long awaited notification,

Your absolutely right it is long awaited for us members on here that want quality not quantity. Mylot will have a stronger loyal base of members with stronger post and more substance to them. It is gonna be hard work to keep it up put if they do keep it up that will let the spammers know it isn't worth it.

Yes. I think after long struggle now all the 1 word posts will not be rewarded, but only quality posts providing most information to the discussion will be rewarded. It is a welcome move by myLot. This will also discourage spamming of discussions and help in maintaining the discusssions. Thanks a lot!

I was happy to read the alert too. I also posted my comments there. Just day before our friend rosebug said this on one of my discussions. We are all against bad discussions which waste our time. I, personally never respond to such discussions cos there's nothing to discuss or sharing any intelligence. I 100% agree with you. Good luck and have a nice day.

Im happy about this as well. I can't wait for us to actually get what we are working so hard for. I am hoping that it will cut back the number of users because there really are too many here that are just looking for a quick buck, while the majority of us are here for friends and fun!

This is totally awesome for sure. I saw my earnings for yesterday before I saw the alert, and I thought to myself, what did I do differently? I am thrilled. I just hope that it doesn't mean the resources of myLot admins will be spent too fast and run the well dry!!
