I was fired once in my entire working history and i was working in a call centre and i had to ring peoples home and try to get them to take a book of raffle tickets for them to sell amongst there family and friends. We had a certain number of sales we had to make per hour and i was one sale under what was needed for the hour, which i ended up making up for in the next hour but they decided to let me go because i missed one sale for that hour!

I have never been fired (thankfully) but I did quit over something extremely infuriating. While I was pregnant I was working for a customer service company and had my medical insurance through them since insurance wasn't available through my husband's job at the time. I got in a car accident in late February and my daughter was due in mid April. After the accident I was repeatedly going into early labor, so I ended up going on maternity leave in mid March because I was ordered to stay home by the doctor. My supervisor said he would file all the paperwork to put me on maternity leave so I wouldn't have to go in and sign anything. I had my daughter on April 1st and I found out on April 15th that since I went on maternity leave in March my health benefits ended at the end of that month. So the entire hospital visit was not covered by insurance. I contacted HR and the insurance company, and all of them told me to bad. I went back into the office where I worked and expressed how upset I was and that it should've been covered and the HR lady there said there was nothing they could do. THEN she had the audacity to ask me to come back and work for them when my maternity leave was up. I laughed then said no way (I already had another job offer on the table by this point). I'm still paying off that medical bill and it's been almost two years. (It's expensive to have a kid.)

I have never been fired for reasons that I thought were stupid things that I had done. One job I hated so bad that I had migranes every night after work. The owner was recently sent to jail. My period was giving me such a fun time that I was in the bathroom at least once every 45 minutes. My guess is he was recording how many trips I was making. I was leaving the bathroom and the two managers asked me into their office. It was there that they broke the news. I was told they had complaints, but funny how all of my clients found me to be one of the most compassionate people they had conversed with. So, I guess that was the stupidest thing.
