Why does society put so much pressure on women to be thin?

The men can be as fat and old as they want, but so much pressure is put on women to be built like little boys with fake boobs.

Real women know what it's like to have kids and gain weight and struggle with your weight. The women in media and show business were dreamt up by men and women do it to please them and other women. Any women who holds herself to those standards is not very smart.

the pressure is put by women themselves. but keep fitting is not thin ,just healthy.

I agree with you, that is why so many woman have eating disorders, trying to please all these men who want thin woman. Hope they are all satisfied.
