If mermaids do exist and you eat one, will it be considered cannibalism?

mermaids - mermaids
well, we cannot comment on a thing which still is in a doubt that it does really exist. there is a controversey whether mermaids do really exist or not, so asking a question like eating them will be considered as cannibalism or not will again be a matter of controversey. However, the question asked is indeed very good and makes you think about it....'m still thinking::

I was weighing things too. It's the topic for our class debate and I wanted to know other people's view of this. Thank you!

Makes sense.. but if whether you eat the top or the bottom half, it will still die. That's another crime though, isn't it?
