Do You Collect Anything??

Oh I love collecting things. lol I first off collect books, love them... dolphin things (kind of), penguin things (kind of again), & betty boop & tweety I also like to collect sheets, blankets, pillows. lol

When I was growing up I collected Teddy Bears, as I got older I passed them on to friends kids or to the church. I of course kept some that were really special to me and now my daughter plays with them. Now I collect Angels. I have Angels all over my house!

I collect a few things too including pumpkins and cookbooks. I don't have a big collection of cookbooks, and I am always looking for more! I like homestyle or country cooking type best. What are your favorite types of food to cook? What are your favorite cookbooks?

oh my i have two eclectic collections. I collect international cook books, i have them from all over the world. The one i am most proud of is a pre-revolution Iranian one, but have them from around the world. I collect several things actually. I have a decent size thimble collection. Some are from different places others are designed with certain elements on them, like one set is the 12 apostles. I also collect dragons. My other collection is anything with Eeyore on it. I love that little donkey and I have several shirts, stuffed animals and even a purse with him on it.

Well at first I'd say no, but I guess I do unconsiously collect books. I too have a large selection of cookbooks (don't you just LOVE a pretty cookbook full of color photos). And I have bookcases full of books.

There are so many things that I collect...Fairies, stamps, my kids things they do at school (not everything), pictures, Cocoa Cola stuff, Neopets, and thee books that I read.

I'm a recipe collector.

I am addicted to books so that would be my number one thing I collect, then their are teapots, unicorns, hummels, and I think I am starting to collect animals too.

I collect cookbooks, also. I am tending to like the community cookbooks the best. Because, I think the recipes are more down to earth. But I have quite a few ethnic (Jewish and Mexican) cookbooks.

I collect Anime series, Marvel action figures, 7/11 Slam Cards, Masters of the Universe action figures, Stickers, Books, and Tamiya. Currenty I'm collecting Marvel action figures. In the future, I would like to collect DC Toys, Street Fighter Toys, and Anime action figures. I find it relaxing staring at my collections when I'm down or stressed out.

Oh a fun post. I absolutely love beanie babies. I also have some of the TY Kids, Attics, Classics and the MCD Teenies. Before my last daughter was born I had a bedroom for them all. By all I mean that I have over 2,000 that I have collected over the years. I just think they are the cutes things in the world. One day they will get there room back for now they are in plastic crates, except for a few. My kids can attest to how nuts I have gotten. Call me crazy. My obsession has lessened in that I don't purchase everyone anymore, just the ones that I find I can't resist. Good luck to you here at mylot.
