i usually can not sleep right away at night so what i do, i read or i watch tv. one night, as i got up to turn the tv off, a searing pain at the upper portion of my back hit me. it was so painful that i had a hard time breathing. i called out to my sleeping husband in a very weak voice because i wanted him to pat my back hard. good thing he heard me coz just before he reached me, i passed out. that was the first time in so many years that i fainted. the only other time it happened was when i was in college and suffering from dysmenorrhea. this time, it was more painful coz it felt like the pain was from deep inside. i went to my doctor the next day and was subjected to a battery of tests, incluing a 2Decho. but everything was normal. i honestly have no idea what's wrong. our native doctors here have a term for it. they call it "panuhot" but the professional doctors don't believe in such a thing. as for me, i don't know what to think anymore. every now and then, the pain comes back but milder in severity. did anyone out there experience this, too? what was your diagnosis?

That sounds so painful. Wow I'm glad your husband reached you in time. I'm no doctor so I have no idea what it might be. Could be a pinched nerve or something of the sort, but I don't know, doctors would have seen it. Do the native doctors have any remedies for it? And does it still hurt or was it just that once? I hope everything's okay.
