Travelling by air

Has anyone travelled lately, since the new security rules came into effect? I am planning to travel soon, and have heard so much advice and instructions that I am confused !!

Now a days it is real problem. It takes more than a hour just for security check in

If you're from England be prepared to take your shoes off! No liquids are allowed in the hand-luggage, I think they've losened it abit now and you can take on one item up the the size of a laptop back, musical instruments can go on board.
