I trust people very easily. Its one of my weaknesses. But i also think, its better to trust than to doubt everybody. I very rarely open myself with others. So I dont get caught with personal things spreading out but sometimes, the people I thought are my friends have betrayed me. On the other hand, I very rarely break promises. If I do, I cant sleep that night. I am a difficult person. (LOL)

That's my weakness too but even when it hurts, I still trust. I hate been lied to but I try as much as possible if it is in my power not to break any promise I make to people

Yes I'm pretty reliable when it comes to followig through with the things I say that I'll do (being somewhere at a certain time, picking up something from the store, etc). It takes a lot for me to trust someone but I try to provide a good example for myself towards other people, so they see that I'm trustworthy and show me that I can trust them as well.

Have you been hurt by someone in the past? Is that why you have a hard time trusting people?

If I tell someone that I will do something for them, they consider it done. There is nothing worse that someone renigging on a promise. When someone says that they will do something they should do it or let another know that they are unable to fulfill the promise. I know I can trust someone when they entrust me with something that they would tell nobody else.

what ever i commit to i will do no matter what.As far as trusting someone else it depends on the reason i take my time to get to know then before i would commit myself.I have been hurt so much in the past that i`m very weary now

When I say I'll do something I'll do it. Usually quick and before hand, but sometimes it takes me awhile to do it, but I will always do it. If someone hasn't done something I've asked of them or they promised they will two times or more in a row, I have lost all trust in their "word". It would take quite a bit to get it back.

Thanks. I agree with you. Once I've lost trust in someone, It's really hard for them to regain my trust.

It takes honesty for me to trust someone. If a person says they will do something I think they should at least try and do it. I understand if something happens that provents them from doing it when they say they will. But they coulc at least let me know in advance if they couldn't.

Those are very good points. When someone tells me they will do something, I expect them to do so. If they don't, then they should not expect me to trust them again.

It takes a lot for me to trust someone. They have to be loyal and not talk about me behind my back. They have to keep promises they make. They have to respect me and my beliefs.

I like to think I can. I trust just about everyone until they do something to make me think other wise. I am a trusting person and will give everyone the benefit of the doubt. However, once the line has been crossed there is no coming back. Most Portuguese friends think I am crazy to trust people. I feel that if I want people to trust me then I must reciprocate.

Unfortunately, it would take an AWFUL lot at this point in my life to trust someone...I have always had a bad tendency to trust someone completely right away and it always comes back to bite me! I have been lied to so many times, that now if someone tells me they will do something, I will only believe it when I see it...I know it's a shame that I have to be that way, but I've lost almost everything I ever had because I trusted the last person....show me, and I'll trust it.
