where is the next olymbics going to be held

I heard a couple of years ago that they were (dont know which ones) were going to be held in New York and that they were thinking of ways to make this happen and I thought that was a good idea so that we can go see it. That is something that I would like to go see.

NYC was in the running for the 2012 games but they lost out to London. NYC is not among the US cities trying for the next summer games up for bid. I think San Francisco and Chicago are mong the cities the US is considering putting forward.

as far as i know the next olympics are to be hld in China in 2008 and then London in 2012
