As I look at it,it is your money and time you are spending and if you do not feel you got your money's worth, then tell them why so that IF there is a next time, the same mistakes will not be made. How are the people supose to know how to correct things if no one tells them of the mistakes?

we have. just 1 time though. we were at the beach and went to this place to eat. we were seated and given menus and we waited and waited and waited some more. no one came over to take our order. not even our drink order. so we got up and left. as we were leaving the waitresses were all standing around talking and none of them even asked if something was wrong. we will never go there to eat again.

You have to wonder at times if it is the manager's part for not training staff right or the staff's fault for not doing the obvious and assist the customer. Places like this will probably not survive too long so I hope you enjoyed your non-meal there. Thank you for replying as well.

Both me and my other half have had a few bad experiences that have made us think about walking out or even actually walking out of a restaurant due to the service being absolutely terrible. These mainly happened at one restaurant in general and for some reason we keep going back for their food but we only do take out from them now. We will no longer go in there to eat due to some of the employees and their attitudes towards customers. What we had seen was enough to turn us off from eating in their dining room. The first time we went to this restaurant the food and the service was actually pretty darn good. We were so impressed with it for some reason we decided to go back there the following night for another meal. We were seated at our table and our waiter came and took our order. We both had the feeling that this night was going to be bad compared to the previous evening. The waiter brought us our dishes and we started eating. I had ordered a burger without onions because I have acid reflux and I try to avoid eating those whenever possible. When I brought up my problem with the waiter he seemed to take it personally and get really rude with me. He got very snotty and grabbed my plate and took it away. He brought it back without onion but then that's where the service seemed to take a turn for the worse. For the rest of the night he was giving us the cold shoulder and ignoring our table in general. We finally asked for our bill and left. We had full intentions of calling the management and complaining and I asked my other half to do that. He spoke with the manager of the restaurant and the manager was surprised to hear how that server had acted. Apparently it was out of character for him to act like he did. The manager offered us no reimbursement for our bad night out and it made that restaurant look bad in our eyes. We had liked that place up until then and ever since we have not really found the idea of eating in their dining room as a good idea. We went there just recently because we were out at the time and we wanted to have a bite to eat for lunch. We were uninformed when we called earlier that their dining room was closed because of a private function. We got really frustrated with that place yet again because there were no seats in the lounge and when one freed up, someone else took it. We got fed up and decided to leave. It didn't help they had three girls at the front who were laughing and making jokes about everyone coming through the door. And I dislike being around shallow people as I find it rude to make fun of any customer for any reason at all.. So in thee end we decided to go to another restaurant instead. When we arrived at this other restaurant we should have not even decided to go there in the first place. They ruined our night because we used to remember this restaurant as one that made really good food. Well, they didn't have a great menu and what I wanted wasn't even on the menu so I had to special order it. When they brought us our meals the flavors were completely bad. I did not like my dish at all and my other half remembered that his had been changed from how it was the last time he had it. All in all we were so disappointed we were kicking ourselves that we didn't just walk out when we first showed up. It didn't help the line up when we first got there was in upwards of an hour to get a table. Plus it was so loud since the music was on full blast that we could barely even hear each other talking. The only thing we will do now is order take out service from the first restaurant because there food is still good but we don't have to worry about dealing with waiters who have chips on their shoulders. We had gotten a gift card for that place for christmas and we ordered dinner one time. The order was prepared incorrectly so we called and complained. At least this time they were willing to send us compensation for it. We received another card for free. We ended up getting another one after that due to another error with our order we made with that card. It was nice to see they were finally doing something to make their customers feel a bit better about their service. In conclusion, we have walked out of a restaurant because of the service and there have been times where we almost did that as well. We believe that in order to be a good restaurant you need to offer the customer something in case they have a bad evening because of the service or food. If it isn't up to par then they should do something to make you feel like you are a valued customer. Otherwise you shouldn't go back there until they can assure you their service has improved. Thanks for allowing me to share! xx

Just like good service should be recognized, bad service should also be noticed. When you are putting out your hard-earned money for a treat for yourself, you deserve a certain level of service and if that level is not met, then it is up to management to correct the problems to assure it does not happen again. Thank you for taking the time and effort to share your thoughts and experiences with us!

This happened to me when i was dating a girl.. I had ordered a chappati and few other dishes .. And the first mistake they made was the delay in servicing . They took atleast half an hour to deliver the ordered food.. To this i had not complained but after that delay also the food that they served was not fully cooked.. this made me angry and i just called upon the manager and complained about the poor service.. i had been a frequent visitor to that hotel , but had experienced such thing for the first time , so i thought it wise to bring the mistakes into the managements notice.. Then they ensured that the services were properly delivered to us.. If we dont bring out the mistakes they will not come to know abt it and will continue to do so.. So we should not compromise with the servises where we are paying for the same
