do u know any thing about the alchemist (a real people,not that famous book))

the alchemist is a person that know the secreat of substance,he or she (but most of the story alway told that they are men)get the wisdom of making "philosophy stone". by that philosophy stone,he can change the normal substance as tin or mine or whatever turn to be gold. and by that philosphy stone aswell,he can make a liquid that after drink can make him get immortal life. i wonder that this all are real story or just a fairy tell. but lots of people said that it's fairy tell,but some said that this thing exist. anyway even sir isac newton used to crazy about these all the alchemist things.
