Friend requests on mylot just to send you referral links?

There must be people out there experiencing the same things. I was accepting pretty much everyone as a friend because I like to talk to people in general and like to give everyone a chance. However, there are people who never talk to you and all of the sudden you get messages asking you to join all kinds of websites where you can make money and they send their URL. I am currently not looking for programms and allways try to be polite and say to people I can hardly find time for mylot, and because this is my nr.1 programm so far I quit all others to make as much time for mylot as possible; merily because it's fun and I'm not just in this for money; I have a real job for supporting myself and every extra cash goes into my my little pony collection :) So basicly this is not just a discussion but also to anyone who wants to add me as a friend; if you are just doing it to send URL's and requests to join programms: I'm sorry but I'm not interest. You can post here if you want to discuss this or if you want to announce you are (not) into these kinds of messages, hope that helps and thanks!

That's true, there are good and helpful friends in mylot. I'm more referring to people who keep trying to push you into the programms after you've kindly said you are not interested; I've had experiences with that and it's not very nice. Thank you for your response.

I had a similar experience with a couple of people I had added as friends. I consider it spam and usually remove them from my friends list. Now before I accept a friend request I always look to see what discussions they have started. If they're discussions in which I'm interested, I add them, but if they're not, I usually just decline. I like to use the link to the discussions started by my friends, and it's easier to respond to them if I just stick with good ones.

Thank you for your very descriptive response, I think you are absolutely right. I think I will do the same thing in the future, it sounds like a really good idea. Thank you so much again and see you around on mylot :)
