Going to Bangkok - any tips or suggestions?

i'm planning to have a quick 3-day vacation to Bangkok, Thailand this coming Christmas vacation... Any tips or suggestions?

going to bangkok?... try this island.Do you know diCaprio's movie, but i don't remember the tittle of the movie.that is beatifull island of thailand.

basically take an empty suitcase ,plenty of shopping bargains and markets to go to . as well as accomodation which is a pretty decent rate,if u want to go out of Bangkok, go to Chaing Mai its full of history and temples as well as mountains where you can visit local tribes
