Everything that happened to us is the will of GOd, our father. Challenges are just lpart of our life, sometimes we are up, and sometimes we are down. You know what, let it be, we have nothing to do, that is the will of oyur father... We don't know when ou life would end. Just pray for her and who knows, a miracle would happen to your godmother.

Go read and study the book of Job in the bible. I think it can help us to understand what is going on when difficutl thing happen in our lives. You can find some answeres there. God gave Job so much. He was a respected leader in his community. He had much wealth and many children. He worshiped God every day. Then He lost all his children and wealth. In the end Job continued to worship God and was rewared with much more then he had in the first place. God does have a better plan than we can imagine

Because He endowed thinking ability/free-will, we all suffer some. But He being Life itself, suffers, experiences and lives through all sufferings which occur. Why would he put himself through all this?? Because he's not creating robots or an ant farm, but the best, a family. Because he is Perfection, the end result (of all this and human history) can only be the best possible end result. If we can truly, and deep down realize this, it will help us in life, and in our prayers for those we love, for it helps us to trust, which is what we need when we pray. If he were to not let 'free-will' run its course, it wouldn't be 'free-will'. If he were to never endow thinking ability, yes, there would be no suffering.. for us, or him... I will pray for your dear godmother. God bless..
