loan money to a friend of you!!! / myLot

If a friend of you ask you to loan him some money, would you give it to him or her. Yes, no, with a contract, only for serious reasons, etc.... Please tell me what you should do

Yes, I would loan my friend the money if they needed it. If it was a large sum and I needed it back. I would defiantly get a contact. Otherwise I may never see the money again.

thanks, a contract is needed I would say, but it is not always that easy to ask from a friend

I have loan money to a friend and still waiting to receive but was a ex-girlfriend who needs money to make a trip, not a good friend, because if she was good she would gave the money back, But still i loan without contract just believed in her word, that is what friends do, and I´ve done it but still...

Well, I will just say this my Father told me to never loan anyone money that you can't afford to give away.

No I wouldn't loan money to a friend simply because we don't have any to spare. To me, my family needs come first. We barely have enough to cover our bills. And that leaves just a tad for groceries which we really can't afford... But we need to eat and we need diapers and formula! So what do we do? LOL
