The new PS3

I don't own one. But, a lot of people are buying them. I suppose the line would depend on the time of year and how many places are selling them.

The men in my life despartly want one. I think that it is extremly expensive and ridiculus. But, knowing my husband, we'll be the proud new owners of one by the end of next year.

I do not own a Playstation 3, but My brother reserved one via preorder before they same out and I recently had a chance to play it. While the games look amazing, I really don't think it is worth such a high price tag. Once better games are released and the price drops to around three hundred or so, I will buy one.

I'm going to get one, but as I said in another discussion earlier, the XBOX 360 and the Wii look more appealing right now. They have their exclussive juggernaut games such as Zelda Twilight Princess, and for XBOX 360, Gears or War, with Halo 3 not far away. They are much more affordable, with the XBOX 360 200(or 100) bucks less then then PS3, and the wii being a whopping 350 dollars less. Not only are they affordable, but there are much more of them to go around. Even thought the Wii has been flying off the shelves. The PS3 hasn't given me much of a reason to buy it. They've lost some amazing exclusives like Grand Theft Auto. At first they it would come out on the Playstation first and then the game would make it's way to the XBOX some months later. But now, Grand theft auto 4 is comming out on the XBOX 360 and the PS3 simutaneously. If it loses a game like Final Fantasy XIII and it goes to the XBOX 360 as well, then I odn't know if there will be much of a reason for me to get a PS3. I'm still going to get one though, it still has alot of potential, but SOny is shooting themselves in the foot right now with all of these mistakes. I probally won't get one until the PS3 becomes much more avaliable which won't be for several months.
