Do you talk to your pets? / myLot

I talk to my pets a lot. When my very first puppy was with me, I use to just talk to her and she usually put her head on my lap and listen to me. After my duaghter died, I guess she knew about it and she didnt eat for 3 days. She just sit next to me and put her foot on my lap and just stay with me when I go outside. Do anyone talk to your pets?

Talking with a pet is not a symptom of psychological incapacity but rather a positive sign that you are a caring and loving human being! Crazy people on the other hand find the thought "crazy".

Yes,I do.All of them.Most of the time I believe the cat and dog understand me,the ferrets don't.Maybe their little brains just can't wrap around the basics of human/pet interaction.lol

I always talk to my kittens. I cant help it they are like my kids. How can I not talk to them. They are part of the family, I totally love my kittens. At times it seems like they understand me and respond in the ony way they know how. I love it.

Absolutely. I'm amazed at how much some dogs can understand. So many words ours totally gets. In fact, you have to spell some words if ya don't want them to know! They're very perceptive with your tone of voice, and about moods humans are in.

I talk to them all the time. I don't know if they actually understand every word I say, but they know some of the words and they're really good at understanding my tone of voice.

I have a bird and I don't really talk to her, but when I had a cat, he was like my best friend. I talked to him all the time.

i have 2 pets, a dog a huge one and a little guinny pig, they get along very well and i do talk with them, is great when they do understand what i say, u'll say it's easy for a dog to understand and obey yr commands if is trained... well but i guess u can't say the same about the little pig...well in my case... they manage to communicate..and they both understand. They bring me comfort...and sometimes they r very good friends. keep place for a lot of lost things
