norton anti-virus is a good option but the problem with is it hugs lot of memory resources, i prefer using ClamWin, a free antivirus that is updated regularly.

Yes norton is a very good AV but due to the fact that it gets in your system and takes over it is not my choice of scanners. It does not how ever protect completely as mostly all scanners dont

I think Norton is not the best anti-virus. I think McAfee is far better than Norton.

AVG Anti-Virus.. Now has FREE edition! - AVG Anti-Virus.. Now has FREE edition!
In all fairness, there's nothing bad I can say about Norton Anti-virus but since I don't have the money to buy a licensed product, I prefer AVG anti-virus since its free and effective in protecting my system... so far.

Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edtion 10.1.5000 is the best. Just bundle it with Spyware Doctor 4.0 You won't get a single virus.
