not at all.of course that is if they offer theater classes for younger children. if not I strongly recommend dance. a friend of mine started dancing very young and now at 19 still dances. They often did recitals that looked like plays so your little girl might enjoy that, as well as the costumes

well, for the past 2 summers now, (she was 3 when she first started) she has been taking dance lessons from a reputable dance school here and, yes, she enjoyed it a lot. culmination for each summer session was also a recital where the kids get to wear different costumes. she took it all in a stride. it was a different story for me, though. everytime her turn to dance came, i was a mass of nerves! talk about stage mothers!

It would only be too young if it's something that she didn't really want to do but that you were more or less making her do. It sounds like this is something she'd really enjoy, since she likes acting, singing and dancing. Good luck!

uh-huh! she puts on her costumes at home and act or sing or dance even with no audience! thanks for your opinion.

Well at the age of 3 - 4 a child is grown enough and should be formally enrolled in theater

not too young as long as SHE enjoys it - if she wants to do it then what have you got to lose? My daughter is 4 and does highland dancing. She had her first exam last June and I was more nervous than she was.
