Do you use Your Bank Card Or Checks More? WHY?

I never write checks. It's way too much trouble. I don't even need checks to pay bills anymore with online billpay.

I don't like cheques. Ithink they're definitely becoming obsolete, especially when you can just use a savings card in the same way that transfers the funds instantly. I work behind a register and I have to tell you that I get really, really annoyed when people want to pay by cheque, especially when I see their savings/cheque card sitting right there in their wallet! When you pay by cheque I have to get approval from my manager, call on the phone and get phone approval from the cheque line, process it through the computer and then check license details! It takes about 10 minutes all up and I hate it, especially when there's 10 other people in the line that get cranky at ME about the wait.

Definitely my bank card. I know that the money comes immediately out of my account, and I don't have to worry about taking the time to write down the amount of the check, or in the rush of things, possibly forget altogher.
