Should women be allowed to breastfeed in public?

I breastfed my son until he was 6 months old. I recently stopped for various reasons. I'm curious to see how people feel about women breastfeeding their babies in public. What do you think?
I believe that as long as the woman is properly covered it is fine. There were a few times I had to do it and I just covered up. I didn't want anyone seeing my breasts.

It doesn't bother me as long as they cover with a blanket or shawl while they're doing it. I think as long as they don't flaunt their nipple in public it shouldn't be an issue.

yeah, most don't want to flaunt it, I believe, but sometimes it happens by accident.

Yes, I also think there should be feeding rooms.
There are times when you are out and you need to feed your baby.
