Skin problem

my jack russell has a skin problem she itches all the time what can i do to stop it?

Oh my. Ours does too, we can't figure it out. Right now he is on allergy medicine. I say take yours to the vet and see what he/she suggests to help make your dog comfortable. We give ours a bath once a week and that helps him for a little while.

thank you i gave here a bath last night and have been giveing her baths 2 times a month in a recent artical i read online in a jack russell forum said that you should not bath a jack russell more then one time a month...But i will try giveing her a bath every week and see if that helps if it dont then i will take her back to the vet. thank you.

What I did to my JRT is give her a bath of cold water two to three times a week with 3X soaping. It relieve her of the itch. and when the fur starts to grow give her boiled egg yolk two times week

It needs immediate check-up. If there are red patches too on the skin, it can be Psorosis. So just get it checked up to diagnose the type of skin disease.

My jack russell used to have the same problem too, and we took her to so many vets. It seems that they are prone to this problem... Her problem was stopped when i started bathing her using cold water with premium shampoos... I used to bathe her in hot/warm water... It could also be due to allergy...
