But does that mean we can get n trouble for accidenatally starting another topic not knowing someone else made it so im thinking copy or accidentally have the same one this could become a bad outcome for some or all of us who knows what do you think?

I think its more about the people who literally copy & paste another persons words. Ive seen a few that copied EVERYTHING...didnt even bother to add a single word on their own. There was also a couple of people who started threads and copied paragraphs...I dont think it means anything about similar threads, if that were the case we are all guilty of that.

I have been seeing it quite a bit lately. I thought that it was something wrong with my computer at first, but I guess if you are seeing the sam it is not.

I think it has to do with certain words you type...because certain words make links tags I guess? Im not sure we shall see after I post this.

I don't think that this will be a problem for most. Mainly it is targeting people who copy and paste other peoples responses and post them as their own. I don't think that it is referring to accidentally posting an already existing discussion. If you are concerned about posting a discussion that has already been posted you could always do a search.

Yes I agree with it, why should any one get paid just to post someone else words....thats silly and unfair. People should use their own mind or not post.

thats the reason why the copy thing was issued so that those similar topics do not exist, other wise you would see similar topics every other day, to know wheter the topic you are about to start has been made or not just do a search for that topic.

I am glad they implemented this. Geez, if I had to count how many people copy and paste in the discussions I started, I would be here all night! Another thing to, everyone should check to see if someone else started a discussion exactly like the one you want to do. Sure, we all make mistakes in the beginning, but how many times do you see "How old are you?" and "Do you like girls/boys?" *shakes her head*
