How did you find out there was no Santa Claus?

I woke up one night and saw my mom eating the cookies and drinking the milk. I was 8 I think. And she finally told me the next day. I told my daughter this year and she is 9. She said she figured there wasnt one anyway because she didnt buy that story about the boxes being empty under the tree until christmas eve and santa appeared and magically put the toys in the boxes etc. Shes too smart!

Well every christmas i would be so excited that I wouldnt sleep and I would get up from bed to see if santa was there. well when I was 7 I found my mom signing my christams presents as santa and thats when she told me.

i found out when i was in year 3.. . . . i was at my cousins house and they were trying to make me believe that they had video taped santa last year, at first believing this i asked them repeatedly to show me, but as they continually laughed and laughed i figured out that they were lying, later that day i caught my mum and dad on the fone figuring out how they would pick my present up, my theory was confirmed...
