how can we live better lives without getting upset or irritated

as home makers we are exposed to so many situations where we loose our poise ,get angry and irritated as a result end up with depression and frustration. how can we handle ourselves in such situations.

In life the only constant is change...we can't get rid of getting upset or irritated bcoz these are some of the recipes in our life. We can't escape from it as we tackle our task everyday or shall I say it's in our lifepath. For me, I just accept those negative vibes. When I see one approaching and I can't stop it I just take a deep breath and just keep quite so as to not be carried away by it. It's a matter of controling your emotions. Just one step at a time. Recognize the situations where you upset most, when you get irritated and handle that in a smooth way. But don't forget to pray if you believe in the power of prayer after you woke up. It's a great thing to ask guidance from the above for the things we will be doing all thru out the day. :) My friend, don't let them overcome you...you will get old immediately if you focus on them...just keep on smiling always. :)

yes praying durng times of trouble has helped me a lot too. i ask for courage to tackle the situation and come out of it

Being an Indian you know that you have a tradition of Yoga, and meditation! There are also different kind of courses running to treat your stress and self-relaxation! Reiki healing and Pranic healing both are active in India and so many people are following those energies! Besides that Art of Living and Baba Ramdasji's Yoga treatment also in the popular vein! You can do anything from this and get yourself treated with! But at the same time you must be open minded and without any blocks again these remedies because then you will not accept positively and will not get result in a proper way! Then you have counseling in different Psychiatrist's clinic and counseling run by individuals! I think you will have so much option and you can select any thing suits to you!

thx for the wide choie u have given. reiki does help a lot, as the chakra cleaning helps to bring down negativity and built ups. as for other practises i havent tried

accepting a situation and trying to keep calm can help but ones we are irritated there can be little choice. but reviewing the situation and trying to reason out must be the attitude i think

As shuz has said, I wish I knew the answer to that because i myself keep wondering about a solution to such a situation. I think yoga wll help. Though, I have not tried it.It will give you the patience and the control over your emotions.

Getting irritated at daily life is common thing. This is because conflicts of opinion. When someone does not agree with out thought, we get angry and frustrated. The moment we start thinking that these are routine thing in life, we will be more happy. If anything wrong has been in life that may not come back again so better to forget about that happening. This will keep us away from frustration. But generally this does not happen. We remember again and again the bad things or bad part of life. This repeated remembering of bad part makes us depressed. To handle such situation in life, we must try to forget such bad part and give much stress on good part. Good part will keep us happy. One more thing we can do is to keep ourselves busy in other work so that past remembrance does not affect more us.
