I AM

I am not, I AM is !!!!! I am not healthy enough to raise my grandson, but I AM is, and He is my physician. I am not able to hold my marriage together, but I AM is, and He was the One who designed it. I am not financially secure, but I AM is, and He is my father. I am not able to save my family, but I AM is, and He is my Salvation. I am not able to withstand the negativity around me, but I AM is, and He is my rock and my fortress. I am not patient enough, but I AM is, and He gives me long-suffering. I am not wise enough, but I AM is, and He is my wisdom. I am not able to see where I am going, but I AM is, and He is the light unto my path. I am not able to move the mountains blocking my path, but I AM is, and He is my strength. I am not able to love my enemies, but I AM is, and He is my source of love. I am not a lot of things, but I AM is everything, and he is able to make me what I am not. I have no more excuses to not do what God wants me to do. Many times I have not gone where He wants me because I thought I could not: I was right, but He can. So I can go anywhere, do anything, and I must. No more fear, no more lack of self-confidence as an excuse. I do not have to have self confidence, just confidence in the One who has everything and who is able to do everything.

I love this post! I soo agrea with you fired up. we need to put all our trust in God and see that he is able and willing to help and provide....my wife and I have been financially struggling for some time now and the past few days she has been panicing about where our food was going to come from and I told her to knock it off because God Will provide he always provides....yesterday she checks one of our money cards and there was $4OO Put on it and also had another 4hundred waiting to be put on in a couple of days....I told her I told you , you need to put your trust in Jesus like I do ...you dont see me all getting bent out of shape ..I know who my God is.. I told her she needed some time with Jesus to thank him and praise him ...before making the grocery list..she did and well He provides EVERY TIME!!!

Thank you...I agree He comes though every time. My husband and I were in a similar circumstance a few years ago when I got laid off. We could pay the bills, but there was no money for food. But everytime we came close to running out, God would send a small computer job for me and I coupld go buy more groceries. He takes care of all His children

Awesome and ever so true. As Christians, we so often do not tap into the power that is ours for the taking. What a very good reminder of this. Thanks so very much for posting. Did you write this yourself? Thanks for sharing it one way or the other. Wow!

Yes, I wrote it at a time when I was really down and had a lot going on that I thought I could not handle. In the midst of that, God was calling me to do something else that I knew would add to my stress. When I prayed for Him to take the call off, he gave me those words. I am now doing what God called me to do.

In the Bible, God is referred to many times as "I Am". So I am not (little am) refers to me...I Am (Big Am) refers to God.
