Cause they are handy and cute to have. Us ladies tend to carry around more than men do, we will often have lipstick, cellphone, money, wallet, tampons, bandaids, etc, etc.

Because we need to carry our of are junk, cellphone, wallet, picture, datebook,pens,checkbook, and more lol I would be lost without it.
