If you have to feed your baby you have to do it in public, but i think it shuold be avoided. Women should cover themselves or go it to a restroom or something. It just basic respect for the people around you.

Unfortunately, most restrooms DON'T have a separate private place to feed your baby. I'm not going to go out of my way to find a private place. If my baby is hungry, I'm going to feed him wherever that may be.

i dont think there is anything wrong with it. would you rather sit in a restuarant with a screaming baby or one who is nursing quietly, and it isnt like the mom whips out a boob in your face so why should you care. i nursed my daughter on family vacation at the zoo and it was so hot i couldnt cover up easily. the only problem i had was a creepy old guy watching me...

I know it's a natural thing but it does make people uncomfortable. I say it's okay in the woman's room. I guess when your child has to eat he has to eat so if it's necessary I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I think that nursing a child in public is fine. Personally I never felt comfortable doing it because I felt as if people were staring at me.

If a baby needs to eat, it needs to eat. A mother shouldn't be treated like she's got the plague or is a pervert just because she has chosen the best possible form of feeding for her child. I think it is polite to be discreet and cover up. No one really wants to see my boob hanging out, nor do I want them to see it, so I cover up, but I don't think there's anything wrong w/it, if you're discreet!

it is a natural thing and the only people that have a problem with it are people that are stuck up and perverts.

It doesn't bother me at all. It is a mother feeding her child. Most woman I have seen keep themselves covered.

I feel that you should make sure you are covered properly; so as not to offend people in this day and age. But, you are right it varies from culture to culture. God Bless

She should try to cover, but it can't be a crime really, so I think it should be allowed. :)
