I dont really like the movie Da Vinci Code. Its just too boring for me. I was expecting some wonderful actions but i saw less. Not impressive at all in my taste. The interpretation of the Da Vinci Code is somehow too vague and too complicated for the viewers to undertand. Even reading the Da Vinci Code is not so easy cause of too much technicalities you have to deal with.

The novel is based on the controversial premise that there is a conspiracy within the Roman Catholic Church to cover up the true story of Jesus. The novel has helped generate popular interest in speculation concerning the Holy Grail legend and the role of Mary Magdalene in the history of Christianity. According to this premise, the Vatican knows it is living a lie, but continues to do so to keep itself in power.

i perfectly agree. jesus was a human wit wife n kid n his blood line continues.....but vatican portraited jesus as god n n shifted the balance of power...the true nature is still unknown. its a pity on vatican

I'm not a christian either but studied in a christian school...so went to church regularly(it was school rule!)I've read the Bible and the stories fascinate me. And when I saw The Da Vinci Code, I really was stunned. I read the book too and it really had me wondeirng if all this is true, because if it is, then it casts doubt on a whole lot of things. Since its a movie, it can be considered ficitonal..and the book is stated as fictional too though he claims its based on facts.
