my son is turning one (1) this friday DEC. 8, 2006. we're planning to have a kiddie party at one of the prestigious fast food chains. we do run out of money but still we go on for lots of our friends are expecting for a get together. when i was a kid i guess there's no such thing as that. is it really that important?:)

I don't know about you...but a big party for a one year old might not be a very good idea. The child doesn't understand what's happening and if it carries on too long, the child tends to get cranky (especially if he's not used to seeing too many people at a time). I would suggest a smaller affair with a few people that the child is comfortable with and something that wouldn't last more than an hour or an hour and a half.

Belated Happy Birthday to your son Leonilyn:) We've thrown a party too for my daughter last March when she turned 1, we don't have also a budget then but mother in law held it at McDonalds. She shouldered all the expenses, lol. It's her first grandchild and she spoils our daughter somehow. Actually all the visitors are at the age of 20's up to 50's, lol. almost all are friends of my mother in law or my husband. Just thank God that I have nephews and nieces and their friends that attended or else it wouldn't be a childrens party anymore:) It's ok to throw a party for your son, it would be still memorable for all of you:) You can still get some money from gifts, so don't worry all will be fine:)

well, i dont think its necessary to have big party for one years old child, coz in fact he doesnt know whats happened around him. in my suggestion just make party which can make him feel comfortable with around him and i believe it doesnt need big party
