Is it possible for someone that has never met you in person, but he or she says they love and has feelings for you.Do you think that is possible?Do you think those feelings are true?

No...and I will tell you why. Flirting is so high in IM it isn't even funny. The other person will comment you to no end, telling you he thinks about you all the time, asking you to move closer. Not many guys do that person to person. You can build yourself to whoever you want to be online. Painting the picture of perfection. In all reality it is a last call for relationship. Evaluate-you can't find a date (and I say "you" as in anyone) and so you result into getting attention somewhere else. Chances are the other person is desperate and is in the same boat. I have had many online flings and they are absolutely worthless. Sorry. I learned nothing but to stay away from that kind of garbage.

He can't love you-do you have the same feelings? I would say it is either lust or infatuation. You haven't faced a real proble together and made it through it personally. I am very against online relationshps. As I said, I have learned my lesson.

I'd say it depends on how long you have been online dating that person. If he/she met you just days ago, that feelings isn't REAL.But in my case with you honey,am for real and have a real affection towards you.

I don't really think that's possible. You can't possibly know that you really love someone until you spend time with that person. Lots of things go on online that are scams and not to be believed. People pretend to be someone else or try to scam others out of money. People need to be very careful in developing relationships online.

I had one of those once. It was weird but I felt something for this guy I never seen before and lived in a different country. Even when he broke it off because we live far away from each other, I felt the pain you get when someone breaks up with you. If this is happening to you, you might want to meet the person and find out for sure.

I think you can love an illusion but until you have spent physical time with someone it's hard to know if you love them. Seriously what if they have really bad breath or they don't put the cap back on the toothpaste? LOL!

I met my husband online, in a chat room.. We were chatting for awhile and became really great friends.. it ended up that we only lived like 30 mins from each other.. We met at a bbq and stayed friends for awhile.. and later became bf and gf.. and then fell in love and well the rest is history and we became husband and wife Nov..7th, 98.. and live happily ever after.. found my soulmate.. I believe its very possible that anyone can find true love.. Just have to be careful..

That can't happen. You can talk to someone for a long time online and not know one thing about them. Why? How many people are actually honest when they are flirting online? Ok, a lot are, but a lot are not. And even if they are honest, and you have a lot in common and get along fine online, doesn't mean when you meet each other, it will be the same way. Everyone has their quirks and bad habits. Until you have spent actual face to face time with someone, you can't have real feelings like that.

I don't think it's for everyone. I on the other hand found my husband on line. We were playing checker's on yahoo.com and just started talking, we talked on the phone and six month's later we were married. We have been married for almost seven year's. I have heard of some horror stories about lying and being married, so I would say to someone who is thinking about online dating, to be careful and have them checked out.

i think it is possible, because on the computer if they are being themselves, they are getting to know the real you and it is not based on how you look.
