Should there be a cap(a limit) on the number of legal immigrants allowed into UK each year?? In a recent YouGov survey in the UK, 76% of people in the UK said there should be a cap. The majority think Britain is overcrowded, They think there are too many people for the number of houses, schools and hospitals. The governement believes migrant workers are good for the economy. They work hard and pay plenty of tax. It says there are fewer forein-born people in the UK than in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Germany, The U.S. or France. THE SITUATION: The UK population is currently 56 million. About 515,000 new immigrants arrive in the UK every year. About 350,000 people leave the UK. Immigrants make up 7% of the population!! What do you think?? In your country is there this problem??
