Which do you have? I have both, I wear contacts all day when I remember, and only wear glasses in the privacy of my own home.

I prefer to use glasses reather than contact. I don't feel safe using contacts as it's like inserting some foreign object into your eyes. All this while, when ever something gets into my eyes, I do everything that I could to take it out, by using contacts, I'm forcing something into my eyes. No way. I rather wear glasses.

LOL. It really isn't that bad, you can't even feel the soft lens. You don;t even know they are there. I have slept in mine and I have even forgot about them and rubbed one out of my eye once. They don't hurt at all.

My son wears glasses all the time too, but he wants contact lens. He actually looks better with glasses than without.

I wear glasses for reading. I don't think I would ever wear contacts because of the danger of infections. I just don't like the idea of putting something in my eyes and leaving it there for hours.

Infection can happen if you don't keep things clean. I have never been infected from the contacts and I have had all different kinds. I do know others have had eye irratation from not taking prcautions on cleaning their eyes and contacts. It depends on the person I think. i have been wearing them forever though so I am use to it. I have been wearing them since 1972, GOSH that is a long time now that I think about it!

Well, you are a testimony to the fact that they really work well for many people. My sister had contacts for awhile and they put one for seeing distance and the other for close up. She wore them two or three years but they got to where they were bothering her so she went back to glasses.

Yes that is what usually happens for me. If I take the contacts out and go out at night I just don't wear either.

It depends to where you are comfortable with. For me,I'd rather wear a glass, if my grade is not the high. But if you will go to some occasions its better to wear contacts. It looks so fashionable specially the different designs it have now.

I have tried many different styles of glasses and for some reason I am self conscious and do not feel comfortable wearing them in public

lol. I understand. I started wearing contacts when they first came out I think. They were the hard lens and I hated poking them in my eye. But the soft lens are easy!

i wear contacts when i have to go out from the house but i prefer to wear glasses when im at home. i dont like to wear glasses out as a lot of people will say that i look like a headmistress....and i dont know whether it's a compliment or an insult.

You sound like me but I have never had anyone say I look like a headmistress. I have no idea if that is a compliment or not either.
