Favorite Vacation

I have had two fabulous vacations. When I was 19 a friend and I went to Los Angeles. We did the movie studio tours and the stars homes. We had a great time. I volunteered to demonstrate how they make Superman fly. What a hoot! Something I will never forget. After I got a settlement from my insurance company after a five year battle, we deserved a good vacation. My husband and I took our two kids to Disneyworld in Florida. It was the greatest week of my life! Those two girls never fought the whole week. They were five and eight at the time. We did four parks in five days. My illness never bothered me while we were away. We went for one week (should have gone for 10 days) and it cost us about $2,000 for the four of us to fly from Ontario and stay in a double room.

I have been on many great vacations. The most memorable one was a cross country trip in a van with my son, a friend and her son. We left Mississippi headed west and ended in California at my friends brothers house. This trip was awesome, we had an itenerary and had all rooms booked for each night. We were able to take in impromtu sites on the road without worrying about time. We both took 2 weeks off to go on this trip. I saw so much by driving and looking at road signs for unusual sites. It did cost a good bit of money but it was worth every penny!

My family went to the beach and we just stayed out there all day playing and having the best time.
