Australians in mylot

Hi another Aussie here as well. I was born in Queensland, moved south to Victoria at 18 and mostly lived there for the next 28 years and have been a little bit nomadic since then. Our base is currently in south western NSW but we do tend to wander over this great country of ours a lot. This year (2007) we are hoping to make it as far north as Townsville/Ingham through the inland route and then back down the coast to the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane, then back inland heading south. This is a trip that I am really looking forward to and hopefully there will be nice weather for us as well during our trip. :)

I lived in Queensland for 9 years and miss it terribly. When my parents announced we were heading for the USA I ran away from home. But they found me. I was in the 11th grade at Pine Rivers District High School in Strathpine and I couldn't even finish out the year. I miss fish and chips, chico rolls, vegemite and tons of other stuff including the beaches and my Holden. Someday I'll go back.

Gday :) I am from Melbourne, Victoria. Moved here a couple of years ago from another country and now really enjoy my being in Au. There are a lot of things that I would love to know about my new home. If anybody can think about those particular features which make living in Oz as it is - please share you thoughts and experiences, would be very interesting to read. Leasure, interesting places to visit, photos - anything you feel like sharing.
