For me its a hot steamy bath, with music in the background like Enya, a glass of spirits and being left totally undisturbed, quality time to relax.

Yes, especially when you get involved in Mylot, everything else is forgotten!

I like to curl up with some nice music (Runrig or Loreena McKennitt) and either stitch or read. I can't go for a nice long bath as if I do I can't get out again as I seize up and it is so painful so I have have nice baths but no longer than 10 minutes (not really super relaxing) I find baking helps me relax as well but not with my DD (enjoyable but 5 yr olds and kitchens harly make for relaxation)

An uninterupted Shower, which means no kids barging in on me. Another thing is a cup of coffee when everyone else is asleep. Sometimes a book if I can manage some alone time.

Nothing relaxes me more than a good book to read .. my preference is for horror or science fiction, but pretty much any genre of book (other than romance ), just so long as it has a decent story line I can lose myself in ...

If you like reading horror, have you read any of Richard Laymon's, would strongly recommend, I love his books.

Oh man! A nice hot shower! No kids being loud. Not dogs growling and harrassing each other. No phone ringing. Wait...no kids asking me a million questions from different directions! LOL But that never happens. So I will settle for a nice hot shower and hopefully 20 minutes of no one knocking on the door. But I also have one thing that relaxes me after my kids go to bed. I read. I stay up reading with only the sounds of the house or an occasional child talking in their sleep. When I am done reading, I will climb in bed and push play on my mediation cd. Once that cd starts playing, I am relaxed enough to go to sleep. Ahhh! Nice!

New age music, candles, my dogs snoring and my cat burping on my head. Coffee and good book = haven :)

Lying in a long, hot bath scented with lavendar, or playing with my cats. Listenng to music also helps me relax. I like Enya too!

A Vacation can help me relax in a way like nothing else. coz even when i'm home, i'm thinking about work...so it's best to be outta town where i can soak up the sun on a sunbed - on a warm summer day - ahhh.. now thats my idea of relaxation.

Many things-- listening to soothing music, taking a hot bubble bath, getting a back rub from fiance, playing outside with my daughter, going for walks, reading alone or with daughter, watching a good movie.
