Ignore the content, but note how these people are reacting to the information.. Example: " I heard (this person) left her dog out all night and it was keeping all the neighbors awake and the whole neighborhood was mad the next morning and I can't blame them" Who cares if it was true or not?..except the person who was saying it in a demeaning way .. what did they really say?
