Whether part-time, full-time or hobby. Are you a frustrated crafter who never finishes a project, or don't know where to start. Talk about your craft. I have a craft business and am always trying new things. I am getting more adventureous and sure of my abilities. I paint, bead and mosaic. I am just learning knitting and crochetting if I can get my fingers to stop cramping.

Candles - candles
Oh I love to try different things, I do cross stich, crocheting, I am not able to knit even though I have always wanted to:( I have done bead work, plastic canvas, my favorite of all I started 2 years ago. I have been making soy candles, it is so relaxing. I do all different scents, and themes. Have you tried making any?

I did candle for a while but found I was getting headaches. I still love having them around. I use them mostly for meditation, as a ritual to get me into a meditative state.

Hmm, maybe it was the brand of scents that you used? That is strange that you can have them and burn them. How do you get into your meditative state? I know this doesn't fit the topic we are on, but I have tried and tried and I just can't seem to get my mind cleared enough. Any suggestions?

I do a variety of crafts, but my main one is quilting. I need to finish some projects. I also need to figure out some smaller projects to do with limited resources so I can sell them online. Of course, that might involve getting my digital camera fixed.

Im always starting something new just to keep my mind occupied in the arvo if Im not working, Im sure Im hyperactive cause I can never keep still. Other than knitting the socks every night Ive done just about every other craft, and most of them end up in a box unfinished and untouched until the christmas craft cleanout lol.... My latest project is to get my son to make a old fashioned plastic mat, all I need is a manga pattern that he likes, I'll start it, he'll attempt it, I'll try to finish it and maybe it'll get finished in 5 years after I finish all the other to-do's.....

My favorite craft is sculpting miniature figures/dolls with polymer clay. My problem is not so much not finishing a project, as getting started in the first place. At least, lately, I just haven't been able to get "in the mood" to make anything. I think it may have to do with just being so busy with the family and holidays. I have been feeling a strong urge to start creating something, so hopefully, I'll have a new figure started soon!

It is great that you are multi talented and creative. If your fingers are cramping, it's from holding the needles too tightly. I paint and am a rare silhouette scissor cutting artist. My fingers get that way from holding the scissors. Your earrings you made are lovely. My site is: www.mgcreativearts.com
