My mom has migraine. The doctor said it is because of dilatation of blood vessels in the brain. You need to find out when it occurs. For my mom, she suffers whenever she weaks up suddenly cos of noise. She can't go outside under the sun. It can't completely cure so you need to advoid the causative factors.

I have had migraines in the past and usually find it is because my back or neck is out of place. A trip to the chiropractor and some rest often makes the headache go away.

I have definately had some relief with that also, however, anyone who does it for the first time should try to go to someone that was recommended by someone else, or it could make the pain worse.

I find caffine helps a bit. I guess it dialates the blood vessels. My migraines are usually triggered by what I eat. Bacon and other meat cured with nitrates seem to be the worst triggers, so if I avoid them, I'm usually OK.

My mom also like coffee but It's ok with her and she drinks everyday. Maybe the contents in the coffee can help a bit, as you said.

One simple natural remedy to get rid of migraine headaches is to hold your hands under very hot water- as hot as you can bear. Another is the natural herb feverfew- this is very effective for migraines- ask in your local health store.

Feverfew only works for some people, and should not be taken by everyone. I know it didn't work for me. You should always ask your doctor if a certain herb is okay for you to take. With different medications or conditions, the herb might harm or hinder. My migraines only go away with regular visits to the chiropractor. Well, I stop them from coming on that way. When I already have one, I have to sleep in order for it to go away.

ginger - ginger (Zingiber officinalis)
enought sleep will help. at the moment if you addict to coffe or tea, dont stop, but.consume it deductible. if the migrain come, try to rest and sleep in a dark room, compress you head with cold towel, so that your blood vessel can flume. before that drink ginger juice.you can add it with warm water(the better)and some sugar.just like tea. this natural herbs, its been inheritance for year in my family,in indonesia. try it, and its cheap:
