Are wild White Doves friendly? Let me tell you a story. One day my wife was walking near our house one morning when she noticed, out of the corner of her eye, something walking along side her. It was a white wild dove and it let my wife pick it up. Now it doesn’t want to leave.

I certainly hope it isn’t bad luck. When my wife first brought it in, on her finger, the dove just kept looking at me in a very attentive way. I started to wonder, maybe it’s my Mother watching over me, she passed away not too long ago.
Thanks for your response

i would agree that it must have been an escapee. but doves in general arent by any means unfriendly. even if wild caught ive never had one try to bite.
sounds like you and your wife have a new pet.

that is very awesome...i bet it was someones pet who released it..i hope you take care of it and keep it..if it was a pet it might not be able to survive on its own...
