if they kept a secret from you that affected the well being of your children. Would you forgive that person? what if it were your sister?

I already have forgiven. When my daughter was sneaking out of the house an partying, my sister, knew what she was doing. She never said anything, until my daughter was caught and already punished. She said she wanted my daughter to feel like she could come and tell her anything. Really made me mad. That is ok. She now has kids, she'll find out how it feels, I'm sure.

It depends what it was, and your relationship with your sister. I have had issues like that. I have learned that it is better to forgive though. Or else, it will eat you up.

It's hard when the person keeping the secret's wont confess or say something even though she know's that everyone know's her secret. My mother got pregnant while my father was in Nam and she still claim's that my brother is my father's son. He never said anything and continued the relationship, once they were divorced, my sister asked and he said, "Your mother got pregnant while I was at war, but I never treated your brother different then I did anyone else" Which is true. Now, we wonder if we were "fathered" by my dad or not and I would really hate to do a DNA test and find out he is not my father. Sorry this was so long.
