A Wizard Inventor, Thomas Alva Edison!

It will never be exaggerated to call Thomas Alva Edison a wizard of scientific inventions of the present age. Everybody in society is daily utilizing the benefits of his innovative actions those have materialized many decades back. From trial and error experiments, resulting to confirmed designs of wonderful applications, more than thousand invevtions are really a great and surprising achievement for this master-mind. We study about this genius in schools but forget in our daily life inspite of utilizing his mastermind daily even in our own homes. More and more learned people has enriched the field of Science and Technology in the last many decades but the contribution of this creative person is certainly peerless as well as unique.

In my opinion, Ben Franklin was a far greater inventor than Edison, but Edison is certainly in the top five!

You may be right, but in case of Edison the diversity of the uilities are too high to apprehend. 1000 plus inventions in his life time that perhaps may not happen again in Science & Technology..... Truly a great work of an expert experimentalist!!!.....Mitraa.

If anything, I would Edison had less diversity than Franklin... As you said, all of Edison's developments were in the realm of science and technology, whereas Franklin is credited with discoveries in the realms of science, technology, medicine, security, civics, and so much more!

So long in humanity electric bulb, gramophone and cinema is there, the world can never forget Thomas A. Edison. As an inventor, he was an wizard and had more than thousand inventions to his credit that nobody can forget. Such an inventing giant will never perhaps reappear on earth again!
