Yes I do know of it but then again I am an Aussie, however I am not a fan, which some would consider to be unpatriotic however they would be wrong. LOL However every week I do take a note of who wins so I can send a text message to our son who is currently overseas. No points for guessing which team he follows but let's just say I haven't sent many messages to him these past few years. :)

Just for the record - it's nothing like rugby either - a lot of my USA friends assume that if it's not soccer it's rugby but no, it's a code & style all of it's own :)

if the ball is kicked through the 2 big post its known as a goal!!! {6 points} if it goes either side of the 2 big post and between the 2 small post its a point. if it hits the 2 big post its a point hits the 2 small post its out of bounds... do you kinda understand the scoring now

Of course - definitely the best sport on the planet! Let's go Saints - although, my other half is a Bombers fan & my brother is officially a Crow so my daughter will be a Crow's fan - we're kind of an odd bunch! I have tried to explain this sport to so many of my friends overseas but they just don't seem to understand - they always ask if it's soccer & if you say no, they assume it's rugby. I dunno why other countries haven't heard of it - even Japan has it's own teams & competitions!

yep, I go for the west coast eagles devoted fan for the last 15 years. I think its the best game in the world and has more going for it than most sports the scores can very from game to game its dangerous and high flying tackling kicking marking everything a good sports needs.
