Sheetal read English Paper, heard the english news, try to talk in english with your friends ( no worry that first time it will go wrong). When surrounding things are favourable then it will happen means suppose that your birth will be Karnataka then your mother tounge will be Kannada. like this try English. read more books in English. And always be confident.

Immerse yourself in English language. Listen only to radio and tv programs which are being conducted in English. Get hold of those English movies, too, it will be better if they have captions in English, so while watching the movie, you will be able to keep track of the conversation as you will be reading it in English, also. Get a copy of an English newspaper and the Reader's Digest. Read it aloud. Always make a habit of talking to yourself in English. Since you are alone, take hold of a microphone and headset you can hear yourself doing it. Think and talk in English everytime. If you are this immersed in the language, you will surely become fluent in it. Improve your writing skills, too by simply taking hold of a pen and paper and imagine writing a friend using English in communicating.

Go and learn English from a center for such things? Or in British Council if your country has such a thing. And read the newspapers (english) and storybooks.
