Whome you like - girl child or boy child

In present day scenario parents opt for
boy child and against having a girl child.
It will cause inbalance in gender balance
of population in future and create social
problem.When we advocate for equality between men and women,then why people are
against girl child.

i have two girls and have the perfect family for us , i have never understood why people want a different genda i am happy the way things turned out both my children are fit and well, what more can one ask for ?
