What do you think it was like the first Christmas day when Jesus was born in a stable..What do you think the weather was like..Do you suppose..it smelt prety bad? How do you think the Blessed Mother Mary kept baby Jesus warm? Isn't it a awe provoking thought ..our God born in a stable in bethleheme?

I think it smelled really bad. Imagine being in a manger with the animals and their urine and wastes, wow what a nasty smell! But then again, Jesus showed humility thru this, allowing to be born in this world in that kind of environment.

No greater sign of humility then our God dressed in our Human nature.. then not even being accepted by those He ceated?

I think for the participants it must have been very strange to have all that trust in God and each other. To have faith that this thing so different was happening to them a chosen few. The visitors to the manger and the knowledge that led them there. Angels proclaiming. It was a wonderful miracle and hard not to accept in total but mysterious I am sure for each who was selected to be a part of it.

God hand chose each one of us ..and for each of us He entrusted a special mission in life; so I agree each participant at the first Christmas was there with a reason..they were not there by accident.. With God things don't happen by chance.
