I remember when i was growing up my dad would buy a christmas tree off the lot. He would argue with the man about the price and if the needles were falling off etc.... Now it seems that everyone i know like myself have an artifical tree, I do now because i am allergic to the pine needles and so is my daughter. But it always made the house smell nice. What do you think?

When I was a kid we had a real tree a few times. The real tree does smell nice. I have an artificial tree that I am happy with. Its just easier to not have to get a new tree year after year. And the mess of the clean up and keeping it watered. Its safer too, every year there are fires from real trees drying out and catching on fire. I like to have my tree up for awhile, once its up its so pretty I want to enjoy it for awhile.

When I was younger we always went to the tree farm and bought a real tree. I loved the smell of them. When I moved to FL my mother got an artificial tree and would never buy a real tree. I didn't realize why until I moved out on my own. My boyfriend and I bought a real tree and regretted it about a week later. lol. Between our dogs using it as a restroom and the needles falling off and the whole tree dying after 2 weeks we decided that was it. =)

When i was growing up we always had a real christmas tree, but now i just think it is a hassle to get a real one, alot of mess to clean up afterwards and stuff and well with a fake one you can just put it back in the box and use it again the year after but with a real one each year you have to buy a new one! I would love to have a real tree again but i am happy with the fake one for now!
