this ugly yet beautiful world: have you watched this anime yet?

I have the entire series, but have only watched the first volume so far. I really love this series. I first got hooked to it on anime netword on demand and then just had to have the anime. Think that anyone that likes romance or aliens or big fight scenes or all of the above would like this anime.
