My wife always buys our pets gifts. I think it's OK.
Oh, that's apart from our budgie, who has a decidedly nervous disposition. He doesn't like things changing in his cage, it spooks him. We always say that what he'd like for Christmas more than anything is 'No Change'

I give them "gifts" for fun. But I don't think they really care.
This year my rabbits got wicker baskets to chew up (gave them those early). One rabbit is getting spayed (I'm sure she'll just love that present!). The guinea pigs are being bonded (what better present than a friend? that will happen before Christmas too though). And the finches will probably just get extra treats. So nothing too crazy over here.

Yes I do because alot of people, me included think of our animals as part of the family and so we buy them little gifts of things like toys and treats. I am going to knit my dog a doggie sweater and give my dog her favorite toys and treats. I know alot of people thinks this is crazy but most people who are close to their animals understand about getting a pet a gift.

I always buy gifts for my pets for the holidays. For the dogs, we usually get some big bones from the meat department or maybe a new collar. And for the cats, we usually get some special canned food or a catnip toy. Or sometimes I get them a can of tuna fish. I consider them a part of my family.

i think so (but it's up to the owners of course) pets are also friends and friends deserve gifts in holidays. it shouldn't have to be expensive, just a nice grooming service or something will do. pets are also living creatures and they have feelings too and if they can talk, i'm they'll thank you! lol! ^^
